SPECIALITY & INTERESTS:
  • Neurosurgery (Spinal & Neurovascular) Main clinical interests are neurovascular conditions (cerebral aneurysms, AVMs, Cavernomas, AV fistulas), surgical treatment of stroke (decompressive craniectomy and revascularisation for Moya-Moya and Sickle Cell anaemia), trauma and neuromonitoring. A special interest is cerebral vascular bypass procedures, both low flow and high flow. First surgeon in the UK to perform the non-occlusive cerebral vascular bypass (ELANA). Also fully trained for Gamma Knife and Cyberknife and able to prescribe treatment with both modalities.
